Enviro Zinc Inorganic Zinc Rich Primer
Enviro-Zinc 97 may be used as a single coat for weathering protec tion, or be applied as a primer for subsequent application of organic topcoats.
Enviro-Zinc 97 has high zinc content to provide steel with protection of undercoating.
Enviro-Zinc 97 is self-curing and has good application charac teristics. Two dry mils of this primer are resistant to rain and water after one hour cure. Develops film integrity quickly and may be topcoated after overnight drying at relative humidity of 50%, or greate r. Longer cure times are needed at lower relativity humidity.
Enviro-Zinc 97 meets ASTM A-325 Class B Slip-Co-Efficient and Creep Resistance testing specifications for use on faying surfaces. Meets performance requirements of SSPC Paint no. 20 Type IC and MPI # 19.
